بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
The Arabic word Duʿāʾ is used to refer to supplications. Duʿāʾ may be made in any language, although there are many Islamic supplications in Arabic.
The supplications (duʻā ) of Prophets are given in the Al-Quran. Several supplications mentioned in the Al-Quran and Sunnah can be recited for various purposes for the blessings and the rewards of Allah s.w.t.
Supplications can range in nature for everyday tasks like sleeping, eating, drinking water and can be more specific, like supplications for knowledge or health.
