بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم
The Isha’ prayer (Arabic: العشاء صلاة “night prayer”) is one of the five mandatory salah. It is a four rakaat prayer. The two Sunnah rakaat following the Isha’ are highly recommended, and so is the three rakaat Witr. A few optional prayers can be performed after the Isha’ prayer, including the tahajjud and the tarawih in Ramadan.
